Q: What types of animals do you care for?
A. While our main focus is on providing veterinary care for dogs and cats, we do offer some services for horses and chickens. These services include preventative care, routine check-ups, and treatment options as needed.
Q: Does Plateau Animal Home Health provide nutrition counseling for pets?
A: Yes, we offer nutrition counseling services to help ensure that your pets are getting the appropriate nutrients and maintaining a healthy diet. We can recommend specific diets and provide guidance on portion control and feeding practices.
Q: I am not sure if my pet needs emergency care, what should I do?
A: We do offer urgent care appointment and schedule sick pets for same day. However, if your pet has any of the symptoms listed below these types of emergencies are beyond the scope of a mobile practice and you should contact an emergency animal hospital. See our Emergency page.
